While you may register for as many events as you choose, please note that it is very difficult to logistically do the long jump, high jump, and throws all in one night – particularly for youth participants. We recommend choosing one or two field events; along with one or two running events. 

When: July 11, 18, 25 and August 1st
Youth Clinic: June 29th

Where: Manchester High School – This is an 8 lane track
134 Middle Turnpike East

Time:
Running events begin on the Track at 6:00 p.m. sharp
Field Events take place simultaneously

Heats: All track events will be contested in the following order:
Youth girls (younger than high school)
Youth boys
Women
Men
In distance events, heats may be combined; high school athletes should compete in the adult/open divisions

Registration: Register in advance online here. You MUST register online in advance, no registration on-site.

Track Events (in order): Subject to change. All events are finals; You MUST be 16 years old or older to participate in the steeplechase.

Long Jump – Adult Long Jump begins at 6:00 p.m. sharp (far runway)
Youth Long Jump – Ages 8 and under: 
6:00 p.m. (home runway)
Youth Long Jump – Ages 9 and up on first available runway approx. 6:45 p.m.

High Jump – Begins at 6:00 p.m.
Two pits. Adults and youth compete simultaneously. South end of the track. 

Throwing Events – 6:00 p.m. – Discus on July 6th and 13th
Javelin on July 20th and 27th
Shot Put follows discus or javelin and takes place at all meets

Inclement Weather: This is a rain or shine event.  Lightning will delay the meets by 15 minutes after the last lightning strike; severe, consistent lightning will cancel the meet. We will email participants as well as post on our social media pages any cancellations or postponements. 

Officials: Officials are always needed!! If you would like to work at a meet please let us know, you can volunteer to earn community service hours for your school or work. We also offer paid positions to those who qualify.
